Apparatus of the UJFD

Squad 52
Squad 52 is the UJFD's first out apparatus. This apparatus is the first to roll on all calls. Squad 52 serves as a first-response vehicle. During the weekdays, our full-time Duty Crew uses it to respond directly to the scene of any Fire or EMS calls. This enables quick medical care and provides incoming units with a scene size-up.

Engine 2
Engine 2 responds from the Jericho Station as Pumper Tanker response.

Utility 3
Utility 3 is used to transport personnel, tow the Gator, and set up traffic detours.

Engine 11
Responding from either the Underhill Station, this attack pumper is usually the first piece of apparatus called to any large fire emergency incident.

Squad 51
Squad 51 is used as a EMS first response vehicle from the Underhill Station. It is used to respond directly to the scene of any EMS calls or Mountain Rescue. This allows for quick medical care and offers a size up of the scene to incoming units.

Engine 8
Engine 8 primarily serves as a pumper tanker and a water-supply pumper. E8 responds from the Underhill station. It can also operate as an attack engine if needed.

Gator
The Gator's primary responsibilities include off-road access for wildland fires and patient extraction when coupled to the Mountain Rescue Rescue Boggan.

Mountain Rescue Trailer
This Trailer holds all Technical rescue equipment for Mountain Rescue operations including the Rescue Boggan. It responds with SQ51 out of the Underhill station.
